Esopus Lighthouse in December

The Esopus Lighthouse, also nicknamed the “Maid of the Meadows”, on a December morning. The lighthouse was built in 1871 to replace an existing, damaged lighthouse and is the last remaining wooden lighthouse in existence on the Hudson River.

This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 70D at 250mm on December 14, 2016 from Scenic Hudson’s Esopus Meadows Preserve in Ulster Park, NY.
